The Two-Year Master’s Programme in International Business is an elaborate course for developing a competent cadre of Business Executives to meet the growing requirements of resource personnel in the field of Foreign Trade and International Business operations. Developments in International Business on the one hand and the consequential impact of the same on India’s Foreign Trade on the other, call for an increasingly professional approach to International Business operations. Radical changes have taken place in the techniques and approaches to the management of International Business.
The Programme aims at providing a comprehensive coverage incorporating all-important subject areas and disciplines relevant to International Business activities. Equal emphasis has been placed on the quantitative as well as analytical approaches to the study of International Business Management and intends to be at par with GLOBAL NEEDS/STANDARDS.
The Programme further aims at imparting professional education and training, in modern management techniques for handling International Business operations in a highly dynamic and competitive environment.
Key objectives:
- to prepare the Participants for professional careers in the management of International Marketing / Business operations
- to enable the Participants appreciate the inter-relationships of the diverse and complex tasks of International Marketing / Business operations, concepts , techniques, tools and procedures.
- to help the Participants develop analytical skills to identify International Marketing / Business opportunities to determine conditions for access to potential markets and to take necessary steps to achieve the objectives in the context of internal as well as external constraints.
- to promote among the future business executives a scientific approach and capability to undertake senior managerial responsibilities in International Business.
- to develop a competent cadre of young & new entrepreneurs for the 21st Century.
- Actual Job Training & Field Visits are inculcated as an integral part of the curriculum with a view to achieve perfect blend of theory and practice. Efforts will also be made to arrange suitable stipend/monetary rewards during the Job Training.

Eligibility Criteria
(i) A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an Indian or Foreign Unversity with min. 50% aggregate marks/ grade, in Engineering, Pharmacy, Science, Commerce, Arts, etc.
(ii) A minimum two years work experience desirable but not essential.
(iii) Proficiency in English language
(iv) Academic excellence, accomplishments Organisational Sponsorships etc may receive weightage
