DILM - One Year Diploma in International Logistics Management
The objective of this program is to prepare young Professionals for Export-Import Organizations, Shipping companies, etc., especially in the areas of International Trade Logistics.
Key objectives:
- An understanding to develops the different operations involved in executing Export orders and to provide knowledge of procedure and documentation formalities, practices and regulations governing export trade.
- An integral approach to Import Management at the corporate level within the overall policy regime of India. – Better understanding and appreciation of the important facets of the Export-Import policy.
- Analytical skill to identify export opportunities, determine conditions for access to potential markets and take necessary action to achieve export objectives in the context of various external constraints.
For Whom
The Unique programme is designed keeping in mind the needs of the people who are working in operational areas of Export – Import Business, but not had the opportunity of undergoing a well designed formal professional programme. Also for the people who aspire for a career in Export – Import / International Business. Participant profile include company sponsored / recommended executives / employees, foreign nationals, self – sponsored executives / employees, entrepreneurs, Professionals and self sponsored executives/ employees, entrepreneurs, Professionals and self – sponsored individuals.
Eligibility Criteria
1. A minimum bachelor degree / diploma in any discipline from an Indian or Foreign Institution.
2. Work experience desirable but not essential.
3. A minimum of ‘B’ score in the aptitude Test.
4. Academic excellence / accomplishments, organizational sponsorship recommendation etc., may receive due Weightage.
